In the cold half of the year, it is much harder to get out of bed in the morning, so it helps a lot if we expect a hearty breakfast for a little extra motivation on gloomy winter mornings. This time our idea is delicious pancakes according to the recipe Jamie Oliver, which we already know does not waste time in the kitchen, the less it complicates it. As we prepare for a new day of work, we also strive for simplicity, and so is the breakfast below.
It does not contain flour, so we will start the day easily, but it contains oats and a lot of protein that will keep us going until lunch. We will prepare everything in a blender, you can prepare the ingredients in it the day before. In the morning just add the eggs, press the button and bake the mass in the pan. You can fill the pancakes with any filling. Jamie suggests avocados and eggs, bacon or smoked salmon will also go well. In short, good morning, we wish you!
Ingredients
- 100 g of oats
- 100 g of fresh cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- olive oil or butter for baking
Preparation
Shake the oats in a blender and add the baking powder, cheese and two eggs. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water. We mix it all together.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
3. Pour the dough into the pan and bake for two minutes or until the pancakes are golden brown. Then turn them over and bake them on the other side.
Fill a warm pancake with avocado and eggs, but you can also use a variety of vegetables, such as tomatoes and fresh green peppers. Extra protein can be found in tuna or chicken that we may have left over from yesterday’s lunch. Fresh cream cheese will also go well.
