This dish tastes great, is healthy and very nice to look at. Eat cabbage sauce and chicken steak together, but of course you can also prepare them separately. Cabbage salad is perfect as a side dish to any dish. It is excellent in addition to grilled meat or vegetables, and also works well in a burger. In addition to the chicken steak, you can prepare whatever your heart desires. Put it on a sandwich, eat it with your favorite dish or with your favorite salad.
Looking at the picture, it can be seen that the steak is extremely juicy on the inside (not at all dry and similar to sawdust), and on the outside it is extremely crunchy (although it is not baked in oil).
Chicken steak is great because:
• marinated in eggs
• wrapped in bread crumbs and parmesan (yes, no flour!)
• bakes in the oven and does not fry in oil and is therefore healthy and not too greasy
The steak is liquid mainly because of the marinade, so try not to skip this step!
You can also prepare the steaks in advance, which are liquid even after a few days in the refrigerator. Before serving the steak, you can heat it at room temperature, if you do not have a microwave, you can also heat it in a pan with a little oil.
For the preparation you can use a mixture of spices for chicken, which usually contains salt (so be careful when salting!), Peppers, thyme, onions, garlic, rosemary, pepper, basil, sage, basil and tarragon. If you do not have a spice mix, use salt, pepper, minced garlic or garlic powder and the selected spices: thyme, rosemary, basil or tarragon.
And a few words about the salad. It is fantastic in the summer months because it is refreshing. It is also crunchy, delicious and in short everything should be a good salad. And it remains wonderful. If you keep it in the fridge for a long time, just stir it again before serving.

INGREDIENTS (for 2 hungry people):
Ingredients for chicken steak:
• 2 pieces of chicken breast
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 60 g bread crumbs
• 15 g of parmesan
• 1 tablespoon spice mixture for chicken
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• lemon slices (for decoration)
• minced parsley (for garnish)
Ingredients for cabbage salads:
• 1/4 head of cabbage
• 1 rocket launcher
• 200 gr Greek kos
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground garlic
• 1 teaspoon olive oil
• 1 small bunch of fresh parsley
Rinse the chicken breasts in cold water and then wipe with a kitchen towel. Cut the breast in half to get four steaks. Transfer them to a container, place next to each other. Sprinkle with salt and chicken mixture on both sides and rub both into the meat. Beat the egg, add the lemon juice and toss both on top of the meat. Turn the meat once so that the egg mixture is distributed throughout the meat. Cover the dish, place in the fridge and leave to marinate for about an hour.
Meanwhile, cut the cabbage into slices, wash and dry the rocket and chop the parsley. Make a salad dressing from yogurt, vinegar, salt, garlic and olive oil. Try and refine if necessary. Pour the salad dressing over the cabbage, racket and parsley and mix well. Can even with clean hands. Place the salad in the refrigerator before use.
Mix together the bread crumbs and parmesan. Drain each individual steak of excess egg, then roll in a mixture of bread crumbs and parmesan. Transfer the steaks to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover with a little oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C. Bake them first for 15 minutes, then turn them gently and bake them for another 10 minutes until the crumbs turn golden brown.
Serve the cabbage on a plate, place the steak, garnish with a slice of lemon and chopped parsley as desired and serve.
You can prepare the steak and salad in advance, but keep them separate. The steak is best warm, but is also good at room temperature. If the cabbage salad stays in the fridge, just stir before serving.
